New Patients
Your first visit is an opportunity for me to learn more about your health concerns, history, & goals for care.
Your first visit is an opportunity for me to learn more about your health concerns, history, & goals for care.
Before your first visit, you’ll be asked to complete a health history intake form so I can better understand your current concerns, medical history, medications, lifestyle, and goals for care.
At your appointment, we’ll review that information together, and I may ask follow-up questions to help clarify patterns and guide your treatment.
Assessment may include pulse diagnosis, abdominal palpation, and other traditional East Asian medicine techniques that help guide treatment and identify patterns of imbalance.
Once the assessment is complete, treatment is selected based on your individual presentation. Sessions are generally quiet, comfortable, and unhurried, with time for you to rest during treatment.
For your visit, wear loose, comfortable clothing whenever possible. It’s also a good idea to eat something beforehand and arrive well hydrated.
Treatment recommendations and visit frequency will be based on your individual needs, goals, and response to care.
